Innsbruck (Tirol) blues
Imagine Jim Morrison performing his poems with a heavier stoner-psychedelic version of The Doors. Moon Woman crafts an enveloping atmosphere that, in one moment, lifts you up into an airy and light-weighted castle made of clouds and, in the next moment, drags you down into the deep and dark waters of the sea. Sometimes both at the same time. With their upcoming second album they take a step into unknown terrain on the quest of finding themselves not only as a band but also as individual beings. With some of the new songs, the group takes the listener into more unknown territory by scratching on the layers of "softer" music like pop but also tipping their toes into the angry and muddy waters of punk music. But still, they manage to form all the ingredients into a cohesive UFO that takes the listener to obscure planets, like they did with the first album "Open Gates".
