Giacomo Manlio Turra, born on 18 March 1997, is also known under his stage name JMT. He is a singer - songwriter based between Milan and Trento, Italy. He took up the guitar for the first time at the age of 13 after hearing “Good Times Bad Times” by Led Zeppelin. Three years later, Giacomo formed an alternative rock band called Beavers From Mars. With the band, he published the EP "Landing On Planet Earth" in 2017. The band is still active and he is currently the lead vocalist. After graduating from high school, he decided to focus completely on music and started his solo project under the name JMT. He released his first single on Spotify and Apple Music in January 2018. In the following months he kept on writing and recording new songs, publishing one single every two weeks. His music mixes alternative rock, soul and rap under the major genre of electronica. Music and drawing are his two greatest passions. His goal is to combine his two passions as full time job. He associates alternative and unique graphics to his singles, and to deepen his drawing passion he also launched online his own apparel brand, Outbound, where he proposes clothing inspired by his journeys and his music. He is now working on his first EP and shows.
