Innsbruck (Tirol) pop


BAIBA ist eine junge lettische Musikerin, die derzeit in Innsbruck, Österreich, lebt. Sie verbrachte in einem kleinen lettischen Dorf ihre Kindheit und Jugend auf dem Bauernhof ihrer Eltern. Dort begann sie bereits im Alter von sieben Jahren damit, Klavier und Akkordeon zu spielen. Nach ihrer Schulausbildung sammelte sie erste Live-Erfahrungen in Clubs und auf Folk-Festivals. Die Singles „Running“, „Light Inside“, „Touch You Right“ und „You Don't Know Me“ bekamen Radioeinsätze in ganz Europa und Erwähnungen in verschiedenen nordamerikanischen Musikblogs. Ihre Single „You Don't Know Me“ wurde auf einigen der größten lettischen Radiosendern gefeautered, darunter Radio SWH, Radio 5 und Star FM. Bei ihrem Solo-Elektro Liveprogramm kommen, neben ihrer kraftvollen Stimme, auch Piano, Synth und Drummachinen zum Einsatz. Baiba kreiert bei ihren Auftritten eine spritzige und pulsierende Atmosphäre voller mysteriöser und unerwarteter Klangteppiche mit deepen Beats.
