Innsbruck (Tirol) Death Metal
Demonicera is a fierce death metal band that burst onto the scene in 2015, born from the collaboration of passionate musicians eager to create something brutal and innovative. Spearheaded by lead guitarist Rene Gattermair, the band quickly became a powerhouse of creativity, with each member adding their distinct flavor to the mix. In 2016, they found their frontman in Sam Fernandez, whose intense vocals perfectly complemented their heavy sound. Despite the inevitable challenges of lineup changes, Demonicera forged ahead, bringing in rhythm guitarist Dave Ramella in 2017. The band began crafting their first demo tracks, which laid the foundation for their debut EP. They made their live debut in 2019, impressing at a band competition and sharing the stage with heavyweights like Blood for Betrayal and No Zodiac. When the pandemic hit, they focused on recording, with Mike Stöckl stepping in on bass and handling production duties. The addition of drummer Moritz Pik added fresh intensity, leading to a re-recorded EP, released on August 13, 2021. Demonicera is dedicated to pushing the limits of death metal, continuously evolving their sound and delivering relentless energy.
