Innsbruck (Tirol) punk


IGERL ist eine vierköpfige Band rund um den ehemalige Solo-Künstler IGERL, der 2022 den Upload Sounds U21-Wettbewerb gewonnen hat. Der Sound der Band lässt sich dem deutschsprachigen Punk Rock zuordnen und zeichnet sich durch schnelle Drums, angecrunshte Gitarrenakkorde, einfache Melodien auf der Delay-getränkten Leadgitarre und durch die warmen, trashigen 80er-Jahre Synths aus. Über die Instrumentals legt Jonas Igerl seine Texte. Diese behandeln Themen wie Liebe, das Erwachsenwerden und die Fehler, die man lieber nicht gemacht hätte. In den letzten 15 Monaten hat sich IGERL einen guten Ruf in der Tiroler Indie/Rock-Szene erarbeitet. Dies gelang durch zahlreiche Konzerte im Raum Innsbruck/Tirol, eine starke Präsenz in den sozialen Medien und die Veröffentlichung beliebter Songs wie "ist//oke", "Mit Pop Punk" oder "Show Auf Netflix". Letzterer markierte den erfolgreichen Start von IGERLs erstem Jahr, da er ihm den U21-Titel beim Upload Sounds 2022 einbrachte. Seitdem hat sich einiges getan. Mit dem Preisgeld wurde sein Debütalbum "Kaufen" veröffentlicht und weitere künstlerische Visionen, wie Musikvideos für die neuen Singles "ist//oke" und "gott//kopf", wurden ermöglicht. Zudem wurde auch ordentlich gefeiert, muss man sagen. Seit der Veröffentlichung der neuen Singles ist IGERL nun auch ein vierköpfiges Bandprojekt.
