Wir schreiben das Jahr 1917. Die vier feschen Jungs Martin Moidljager, Mr. Maxxi Max, Prof. Dr. Dr. Willibald und Lukas Fendt lernen aus Versehen Intrumente zu spielen und mischen die globale Musikszene hinter den Vorhängen der Musikindustrie komplett auf – und verschwinden. Dann, 100 Jahre später, sind sie plötzlich wieder da. Im Jahr 2017 treten sie endlich vollends in Erscheinung und mishcen gleich ganz oben mit ihrem Hit „Speckknedl“ mit. Doch wie wollen die Menschen diesen Musikstil fassen? Ist es Gastro-Rock? Ist es Partymucke? Wie mischen sich dann diese gefühlvollen Balladen so gut dazu? Die Antwort bringt nur eins: Mit eintauchen in die musikalische Reise der Pelunitschers.
