South Punk è un quartetto nato nel 2004 composto da 5 giovani musicisti Trentini nella fattispecie Predazzo in Val di Fiemme. La loro Impronta Pop-Punk prende spunto da gruppi come Blink, Green Day e molti altri. La particolarità del gruppo sta nell’energia che riescono a sprigionare nel live e nel Look con colori e tagli di capelli eccentrici e vivaci classici del Punk. Cominciano a farsi sentire anche fuori regione, partecipando a eventi come X-FACTOR, FESTIVAL SHOW, sono fra le 30 migliori band italiane emergenti selezionate all’ HEINEKEN JAMMIN FESTIVAL ed hanno registrato un video live per ROCK TV in onda tutt’ora nella sezione Salaprove. Sono stati ospiti di trasmissioni radiofoniche, per interviste negli studi di Radio RAI ed altre radio sia nel territorio regionale che nazionale. Hanno condiviso il palco con artisti di fama nazionale quali: Fabrizio Moro, Tony Mayello, Silvia Mezzanotte, Nomadi, Maurizio Vandelli, Irene Fornaciari e The Bastard Sons Of Dioniso . Il gruppo dopo aver gia sfornato un album “Chary is a Gay”, è ora in fase di stesura di nuovi brani in uscita nel 2013, influenzati anche dalla new entry alle tastiere – synthesizer DJ Doppler. L’ultimo traguardo raggiunto è la selezione fra i 5 gruppi che saranno la colonna sonora della compilation dei mondiali di sci nordico 2013 in Val di Fiemme; infatti la canzone “Fleimstal” scritta dai South Punk appositamente per l’evento è entrata meritevolmente, dopo una lunga selezione, nei 5 brani selezionati per i mondiali di sci nordico 2013.
