(Trentino) rock


The Bankrobber Rock Band italiana formata nel 2008, attualmente composta da Giacomo Oberti (voce/chitarra), Maddalena Oberti (tastiera/voce), Andrea Villani, (Basso/cori), Mathias Drescig (chitarra/cori) e Stefano Beretta (batteria). Da subito iniziano a proporre brani originali e nel 2009 vincono Rock Targato Italia. Condividono il palco con artisti del calibro di Enrico Ruggeri, Andy (Bluvertigo) A Toys Orchestra, Andrea Appino, Jack Jaselli, J-Ax e tanti altri. Numerosi i live e le critiche favorevoli sulla stampa e sul web, con altrettanti passaggi radio: il brano “Away”, dopo essere stato inserito nella compilation 2010 di Rock Targato Italia, è stato presentato al MEI (Meeting delle etichette Indipendenti) a Faenza nel 2009. Conseguentemente iniziano la collaborazione con il cantautore Enrico Ruggeri che canterà nel brano "Moviola" presente nel primo EP della band dal titolo ”Rob the Bank” e datato 2010. Nel 2012 esce il libro "Va Pensiero - 30 anni di rock e metal in italiano" scritto da Gianni Della Cioppa, Walter Bastianel e Marco Priulla, con prefazione di Omar Pedrini in cui alla band è dedicato un'importante spazio tra I capisaldi del rock italiano. Il singolo “Ingrati come mai” targato 2011 è frutto della collaborazione con i Bee Studios di Thiene e la produzione artistica di Filippo Spezzapria e Roberto Visentin dei Lost. Dopo molti concerti in tutto il nord Italia e la pubblicazione di un nuovo EP di sole cover “Rob the Wave” disponibile anche in vinile, la band si dedica alla produzione del primo vero Album dal titolo "Gazza Ladra". Nel 2013 arriva un altro riconoscimento per la band rivana che vince il New Beat contest organizzato da Esu Verona con una giuria d'eccezione composta da Jerry Calà e Umberto Smaila che premiano i Bankrobber come migliore band. Il primo LP è disponibile dal 10 marzo 2014 su tutte le piattaforme digitali e vede la collaborazione artistica di Roberto Visentin Lost gruppo musicale Massimiliano Lambertini e Stefano Sardi (Koinè), Fabrizio Palermo (Enrico Ruggeri) e dello stesso cantautore meneghino che dona ai ragazzi le parole del singolo "Piccole Maschere”. Esce il 25 marzo 2015 la punk cover di Always on My Mind di Elvis Presley. Il nuovo singolo “Good Road to Follow” registrato presso PM Studio di Trento è disponibile dal 21 giugno 2015 e presente anche nella compilation dell’etichetta Alka Record Label che festeggia i 10 anni di attività. E’ appena uscito il nuovo Ep The Land of Tales, 5 nuovi brani molto diversi tra loro più Good Road to Follow in free digital download.
