The Living Targets machen Rockmusik. Bewaffnet mit Gitarren, Bass und Schlagzeug haben sie es sich zur Mission gemacht, jeden Kopf zum Nicken, jedes Ohr zum Platzen und jeden Mund zum Mitsingen zu bringen. Seit der Gründung im Jahr 2007 tüfteln die aus Südtirol/Norditalien stammenden Jungs kontinuierlich an ihrem eigenen Sound. Grob umschrieben könnte man diesen als Alternative Rock bezeichnen. Die Band sieht sich aber auch ganz klar im Einflussbereich des Punkrocks, bemerkbar vor allem durch die Power und Intensität ihrer Songs. Grungige, dreckige Gitarrenriffs, treibende Basslinien und ein sehr abwechslungsreiches, unglaublich kraftvolles Schlagzeugspiel bilden die restlichen Hauptelemente des Sounds. Dieser intensive Klangteppich wird durch den Beitrag von harten, aber stets um Melodie bemühten Vocals von Sänger Marius Walter zu Rocksongs geformt, die wie angekettete Hunde nur darauf warten, auf die Leute loszuspringen. Im Jahr 2010 veröffentlichten The Living Targets ihr erstes Album „Inneriot“ über das Label Airbagpromo Records. Ende desselben Jahres folgte bereits die zweite Veröffentlichung, nämlich die Single „Holy Mary“, welche im Rahmen einer Aktion gegen Gewalt an Frauen produziert wurde. In der darauffolgenden Zeit versuchten die vier Jungs so oft wie möglich auf der Bühne zu stehen und ihrer großen Leidenschaft, den Live-Auftritten, nachzugehen. Diese brachten sie bereits nach Italien, Österreich und Deutschland. Ende des Jahres 2012 wird es nach langem Warten wieder neues Material zu hören geben. Dann wird nämlich die 4-Track EP „Leashes“ veröffentlicht, darauffolgende Touren sind ebenfalls bereits in Planung.
