Bozen - Bolzano (Alto Adige / Südtirol) Synthpop


Siamo Franz e Matt, gli ULTRAVIOLET, un duo Synthpop dal sound sintetico, ma un'anima umana. Nella nostra musica, passato e futuro si fondono in un presente caleidoscopico. Negli ultimi tre anni ci siamo dedicati alla sperimentazione, cercando le vibrazioni e il sound che ci rappresentasse. Abbiamo pubblicato tre singoli, poi ci siamo chiusi in studio per produrre musica, video, immagini e mettere in piedi un live di inediti, materiale che pubblicheremo man mano. I brani (video compresi) che produciamo nascono dall'incontro di generi diversi, a volte anche molto lontani tra loro. Il nostro stile mescola la nostalgia degli anni '80 con elementi sperimentali e cinematografici, creando un sound (retro)futuristico. Attraverso gli ULTRAVIOLET cerchiamo di connetterci con chi ci ascolta raccontando chi siamo, cosa percepiamo e quello che proviamo intimamente. Per noi non si tratta "solo" di musica, gli ULTRAVIOLET sono una VISION :)

Se dovessimo vincere il premio lo vorremo utilizzare: in parte per finanziare un cortometraggio per Virtual Vibration, il nostro prossimo brano, un mix tra musica pagana, techno e ost; in parte per migliorare il nostro setup live, così da poter offrire al pubblico un'esperienza dal vivo più immersiva; in parte per la promozione.
