Trento (Trentino) rock


Gli Undertone nascono nel 2015 da un’idea del chitarrista Matteo Stefani e del bassista Luca Sittoni. Con l’ingresso nel gruppo del cantante e chitarrista Andrea Lascala, che già in passato aveva suonato con Matteo, si inizia a delineare la direzione del progetto. Con Anna Vettori alla batteria la formazione si completa ed i quattro cominciano a lavorare su pezzi propri e cover spaziando tra grunge e metal, influenzati principalmente da A Perfect Circle, Down, Alice in Chains e Tool. Nel 2018, con l’arrivo di Giacomo Dallavalle alla batteria, il gruppo torna ad esibirsi dal vivo e si concentra sulla composizione. Il sound spazia da accordature basse e distorsioni pesanti a suoni cristallini, momenti melodici e atmosferici. Il 16 dicembre 2022 viene pubblicato Reflections, il primo EP della band, autoprodotto e registrato tra la casa di Andrea e le sale della storica Area Musica, mixato e masterizzato da Nico Tommasi.
