Trento (Trentino) Grunge/stoner


Gli Undertone nascono nel 2015 da un’idea del chitarrista Matteo Stefani e del bassista Luca Sittoni. Con l’ingresso nel gruppo del cantante e chitarrista Andrea Lascala si inizia a delineare la direzione del progetto. La formazione attuale si completa con l’arrivo di Giacomo Dallavalle alla batteria. Il gruppo inizia ad esibirsi dal vivo e a concentrarsi sulla composizione, spaziando tra sonorità grunge, stoner e metal, influenzati principalmente da A Perfect Circle, Down, Alice in Chains e Tool. Il sound della band spazia da accordature basse e distorsioni pesanti a suoni cristallini, momenti melodici e atmosferici, lasciando spesso spazio a intermezzi strumentali. Il 16 dicembre 2022 viene pubblicato Reflections, il primo EP della band, autoprodotto e registrato tra la casa di Andrea e le storiche sale dell’Area Musica, mixato e masterizzato da Nico Tommasi.

Abbiamo un nuovo EP in lavorazione, stiamo rifinendo i pezzi e non vediamo l'ora di registrarli. Vincere il premio di Uploadsounds sarebbe fantastico perché ci darebbe una grossa mano nel portarlo a termine, permettendoci di andare in studio e di curare con la giusta attenzione tutti i dettagli e le fasi dell'uscita.
