Alex the Judge and Forbidden Fruit in Export at Suoni di Marca on stage with Santi Francesi
It will be the winning project of the 2023 edition of UploadSounds, Alex the Judge and the forbidden fruits, who will open the concert of Santi Francesi at Suoni di Marca, a prestigious music festival staged in Treviso, on the evening of Friday 12 July.
The concert is part of the long series of opportunities that UploadSounds' Exports are giving to the most deserving artists registered in the Euregio music contest, which in the coming weeks will allow other bands or soloists who were finalists in the last edition to perform on the most important Italian and European stages.
Alex the Judge and the forbidden fruits is a project that rotates around the figure of Alex Richter, an artist from Brixen who has been active in the South Tyrolean music scene for several years. After releasing his first tracks as a soloist, he launched the 'Fruity sessions' together with producer Fabian Pichler, with the aim of bringing the South Tyrolean music scene closer through the live dimension. With his Forbidden fruits, he has created a project that moves in the experimental hip-hop/RnB sphere, touching on genres such as jazz, funk, lo-fi, neo soul, pop and trap, which in October released its first EP, entitled 'Shapeshifter'. His band consists of Alexander Richter on vocals, Valentin Gasser on saxophone and keyboard, Valentin Taschler on bass, Manuel Pichler on drums and Fabian Pichler on guitar.
At Suoni di Marca, the South Tyrolean band will share the stage with the Santi Francesi, a duo composed of Alessandro De Santis and Mario Francese, two young artists who have made a name for themselves for their ability to mix different musical genres, creating a unique and recognisable sound, which also made it to the last edition of the Sanremo Festival a few months ago with the single 'L'amore in bocca'.
The concert, scheduled to start at 8.30 p.m., will take place on the Main Stage (Palco San Marco) of the important Treviso summer festival, which will continue with a series of dates until 27 July.
